Photo risotto curry et gambas

Christmas risotto

Preparation time : 40 minutes

Cooking time : 20 minutes

Ingredients :

( for 6 )

  • 400 g special risotto rice
  • 12 wild prawns
  • 6 peeled garlic cloves
  • 1/2 bunch of chopped parsley
  • 6 spoons of olive oil
  • 1.5 liter of beef broth
  • 2 carrots
  • 4 shallots
  • 2 spoons of curry

Recipe preparation :

For successful risotto, follow those steps :

  • Step 1 :
Preheat the oven at 210°C
  • Step 2 :
Peel the prawns but keep the tail and the head, and arrange them over the over the oven plate
  • Step 3 :
Mix the garlic, olive oil and the parsley and put it over the prawns before cooking it for 10 minutes
  • Step 4 :
Boil the beef broth in a casserole
  • Step 5 :
Slice the carrots and shallots and cook them in a casserole for 3 minutes and then add the rice
  • Step 6 :
Add step by step the beef broth mixing it until the rice is sticking
  • Step 7 :
Sprinkle the mixture with parsley and curry
  • Step 8 :
Take of the casserole from the fire and split it in 6 plates. Then put the prawns over it
  • Step 9 :
